Hey, just tried 1.0 (played 0.36 last time) and it seems the game is now locked to 30 fps? It looks quite jerky now, is that intentional or maybe an error on my end? I certainly liked the smooth animations much more.

It is locked. I tried letting the player choose a target fps but I couldn't get it to work correctly after the starting screen, so I decided to make it at least save by capping it to 30, since someone complained about having infinite frames which is not good for the GPU.

If more people complain about that fps lock I can try again to solve changeable fps, but I really tried my best...

Or I guess I can just remove the lock again.

Huh, yeah, i see the problem. Have you tried enabling VSync? That should make sure the frame rate doesn't exceed the monitor refresh rate, even without a lock.

Another way i would attempt (speculating without knowing the particular hurdles of course) is a config file entry that allows changing the lock before starting the game.

Or set the lock to something high (like 240 or 360 fps) that will still prevent it from running at absurdly high rates.

Just ideas. If you already tried that, sorry for yapping.

Yeah, I know the Vsynch part.
The funny thing is that it worked when changing it in the settings in the starting screen. But changing scenes made it go down to 30 again.
I even played around with unities player settings, but the issue stayed.

I will try again eventually...
