Sorry to hear that... maybe it's a bug? You started new this update, right? I know that playing on old save game on a new version can lead to problems. But itch.io seems to remove the old save games anyway, when I upload a new version.

Usually yes (unless there are big changes), but it seems like that itch.io automatically deletes the save file when I upload a new version.

Therefore I recommend playing the windows version.

It just exists for the horror flavour.

Forest - West of the big gate in the north that leads to the Abandoned Mansion

Abandoned Mansion - Second floor; southwest room; child room

Cave - Southeast of the caves in the big kobold camp; after walking down the bridge turn east and walk up the other bridge

Deep Forest - West, between the swamp and the magical clearing

This is the one you need. Recipe can be found in the cave.

Loosing the dog quest is something that was supposed to happen in the versions before this one. But since you started anew... Maybe you need to scroll in the quest log to find it? Once you have finished one path with Annabelle in the forest, just find her again in the same spot in the forest and you will get the other quest.
The order when to finish which quest is not important.

Still not sure if this is your exact problem. This is how it is supposed to look:

Can you see the buttons on the right? If not you can try go in and out of fullscreen. Or check your monitor settings.

You mean the potion shop, right? There might be an issue with your UI scale, since there are buttons on the right hand side of the screen, but your screen is to stretched to see them.

I think the best way is to combine this with Pheromone Potions and/or showering.

Mmmm, there was a very old bug that didn't spawn the crows, when you played an old save game on a new version.
Did you start from the very beginning? And are you sure you haven't picked it up, yet?
