The game needs access to some folders on your phone to save and load save files and configuration/settings files, and for being able to save and load a save file from any location on your phone manually if necessary. As far as we know, there isn't a way to only ask for access to specific folders.
What we were trying to say is that we can't ask just for specific folder access. Most mobile games that save/load files ask for full access because of this.
