I think the riots are a fixed event that you cannot avoid if you progress far enough into the story and everything.

I do not remember anymore.

I haven't touched the game for over half a year now.

The Riots event takes 6 days, or 4 days if you fail the initial quick time event and end up in the hospital.

Requirement for triggering Riot:

• Jun is in Advance AI state
• Unlocked going outside with Jun
• Day 28 or more
• Cash over 6,000$
• Finished any church ending
• Finished the first Revolutionary Group Mission (The Join us, joins us, join us email)
  
• Once all the requirements are met. Go for a walk between 12:00 to 19:59, and the Riots should trigger.

Things to do during the riots:

• Survive from Starvation: The convenience store and the bread dispenser machine will be unavailable once the Riots start.
• Help Annalie (Optional): Her shop will be in a very rough shape during the Riots. Visit her shop and help her out. Make sure you have about 10,000$ on you. That money can help Annalie.
• Go for a walk (Optional): Go for a walk to check on Hobo.
• Visit the Church to check Shanice & PriestBot (Optional): PriestBot will be missing. Go for a walk, go back inside, and go for a walk again until you find him. Hobo will help you rescue PriestBot.

When you go for a walk, your sanity could decrease. Annalie will give you some food, the same as the labor office. The convenience & and Pharmacy are destroyed, you cannot get food or medicine during the event

Note 📝: Failing the quick time event at the start doesn't cause any big impact, besides making you lose 2 days, and your sanity will be very low when you arrive home. Helping others during the Riots event is optional. If you don't check on them or help them at all, it doesn't have any big impact on the story.
