I've just tried it on mine using the Retro Games Ltd. ROM and it works fine. I'll try with the original ROM, can't see why it would be an issue.

Edit: Seems to work fine with the Sinclair 48.rom too. Although I'm running with v1.0.0-electron firmware, so probably should update at some point.

Will remove the 48 rom from my usbstick and give it another go, thanks!

*update* It must be the electron firmware 1.03 that stops it working, neither the retrogames rom or the original zx spectrum ones appear to let the santa game work using the latest firmware.

I've just updated mine to 1.03 and it still works fine, so I'm not sure what is going on with yours. I've tried with and without the 48.rom, with and without extended colours, can't think of any other setting to try to see what might be causing it. Have you tried a factory reset?

EDIT: PS. make sure to try the latest version from here, so we're testing exactly the same version.
