Yes, I agree with your idea. The gameplay and replayability of this game are excellent, and if the development team increases their investment in it, it would be a win-win situation that we would both be happy to see.

The mod concept is actually quite simple; the developers only need to provide a port to serve as a foundation for players to add their own content. If they are worried about any "unexpected" issues, they can simply provide story mods and image mods.

Regarding game-level CG images, I don't think this is a troublesome issue.  It's clear that the game's CG images are AI-generated pixel art, which requires AI quality rather than artist quality.  And in my opinion, the quality of the images you've provided so far is already sufficient for the game's needs.

As within game, my images go through about half an hour of Photoshop clean up and editing after a successful generation. That is not accounting for in game they are obviously scaled down and filtered to obtain the pixel style which most likely results in even more clean up and optimisation. Yes this game uses AI assets, but a lot of manual work goes into cleaning everything up. It is not simply spamming a Gen button...

But this is going too much into my AI mindset. AI as an assistance tool is truly innovative it allows simpler workflows and greatly improves productivity. At this time AI without human touches or a lack of an actual backend knowledge base in the users mind is just slop...

只要玩家满意或者至少可以接受,而且运行流畅,那就没问题。至少它为未来提供了一个充满希望和有趣的可能。

Yes, so this isn't a problem; it can be solved using a universal approach. By the way, bro, your AI is really good quality, and you're very enthusiastic.
