There's no "Random party member" option available. There is a "RandomParty" mod at nexusMods, but I am not sure whether it is compatible with the latest version.
I will consider adding this feature into the base game in future releases - although I do not have too much free time for that, because I am indeed working on a sequel to Shardpunk. The steam site is already up, and there's a devlog that I've started there to inform about progress.
