hello! thank u for your comment! it came as a nice surprise and i found your thoughts interesting mostly because i agree with your sentiment.
as a Catholic myself, i'm aware that confessions don't exactly go like this lol. i think when i wrote this a few years ago i was slightly bitter about the Church, so i wrote a very stereotypical priest on purpose. but i also didn't think it would be picked apart much. the priest and their mindset needed to be someone that even non-Catholics might be able to understand.
IN ANY CASE, im glad u enjoyed the "what do u want if not to be better" dialogue because that whole piece of their conversation is the entire essence of the character and confessor, Masa. and i made the game with the intent of exploring him and his mindset.
