Thanks for your feedback! That was actually the initial setup, but we changed it later on after some reviews!
Upcoming releases will have customizable controls. Nevertheless, we would like the default controls to be as intuitive and comfortable as possible.
We have uploaded an update since you played it with some bug fixes, a climbing tutorial and easier first areas in case you wanna give it another try!
