There's a lot to like about this game, but I'll start with some of my gripes. Not being able to fully circle the camera was very annoying, and made it difficult to track enemies that were following you on occasion. The attack cooldown felt way, way too long, and the player's range was very short. Bullies being an instakill felt really bad, especially when you die close to the exit. The map is too big, especially given that you can only walk and jump, and the only thing to find is allies. My biggest problem is definitely the enemies, though. I like that your allies will help you fight them, but the camera, odd shooting mechanics, and instakill make it so that I never want to even try fighting them, which means I never have any need for allies. Onto the good parts, of which there are many. First of all, the art style was very cute, and fit the game well. Along with that, the dialogue was well done, and did a good job at simply conveying the characters. The ally system seems to work extremely well, and I encountered no major bugs with it while playing. The story concept for the game is also silly and compelling, which made it fun to follow and talk to the different NPCs.
