I enjoyed playing this! The vibes of the game are spot on, a good balance between cutesy and stress inducing. The panic I felt as the pursuers get closer while I struggled to jump over obstacles was great haha. The parallaxing art in the backgrounds was a nice touch too.
I do think that the floaty physics of the jumping and present dropping make gameplay trickier than it should be, especially when jumping over the burning obstacles. And despite the burning elves being hilarious, I found catching fire increasingly frustrating as I there was nothing I could do except wait for the reset to happen.
Overall, I think the humor and entertainment factor makes this well worth seeing through and I'm glad I played it to the end!
