Huh, this is the first I'm seeing this post, don't know why it would have gotten deleted. If it's freezing like that for a long time that would suggest an infinite loop, what exactly are you doing when it freezes like this? Is it always this Knot Eater check?
ah no, Its every single time an animation is on the screen for long enough
Like the alley way animations... or in a fight...Usually the fight just ...Ends the game in an infinite loop
I have to pretty much reroll the game back to a previous save or constantly reload the whole game back from autosave
if there is movement... the game will crash like this

But its not locked to just Knot eater check... Its E v e r y t h i n g
I am completely locked from playing the game longer than 2 minutes on average...
I tried preloading but that doesnt even go through...
Ive asked on other forums and they have no idea either...
Ive deleted all data several times in the past year so it isnt some cache error
Ive checked appdata and deleted the entire game several times....including power cycling my laptop and formatting my device
