Quite a cute and down-to-earth story! It does what it sets out to do quite well, especially for a first project~
A couple of small issues with the sprites at one point, and the slightly inconsistent narrator/inner monologue inconsistencies, but it easily makes up for it with good writing!
A personal nitpick of mine, is also the way that poetic prose lines are mixed with simple text, but the dialogue is handled really well!
I think to me, the best part of the whole novel is the dinner scene with a really nice CG and cute dialogue (also the highlighting of characters as they are speaking is a really nice touch!)
