Thank you for your quick response, I can't wait to sample this in my game!

Edit: ho, wait that isn't licenced to be part of a game? Is there a way we can make an arrangement? I am confused by the licencing since it says royalty-free

"Do not redistribute [...] or include them as part of your game's OST!" Is the part that is confusing, do you mean we can't take credit for it? If yes that is totally fair 👍

No problem at all! We are excited to see how you’ll use the track in your game!

And yes, you can absolutely use our music in your game. The part in the license about the OST is only referring to redistributing the music as standalone audio files outside the game.

What we want to avoid is developers taking the tracks and releasing them separately as their game’s soundtrack (e.g., uploading them to Spotify/YouTube as “original music” or selling them as part of a standalone OST album).

As long as the music is used inside your game, you're completely within the license. You just can’t redistribute the tracks on their own.
Hope that clears things up, and feel free to ask if you need anything else!

That makes total sense ! Thank you so much once again for these fantastic piece! i cannot wait to implement this, If you wish, i'll come back when a playable demo is available with the soundtrack included!

Sure, we would love to check out your playable demo! :)

Here is a demo of my work, currently in its early stage but it's slowly getting somewhere! https://cryingplusplus.itch.io/rpg-luminara

You will recognize losing melody, strange matters and some sound effects with a lower pitch to fit the atmosphere. Hope you approve and like the direction* of the project!

Looking good so far! I can hear some piano melodies now, though I’m not sure if I’m hearing the track strange matters or not 😅

I did hear the stingers when I died though, which was great xD

The plan is to make the Melody's pitch higher when getting close to some checkpoint and lower again when leaving it. I think this way it will create tension and a sense of security near these locations! 😁
