I really don't know... the admins tell me it's a bug, the mods tell me it's not a bug but I should write support, I've already written the support and haven't heard back for months, no one is responding to me and every time I reach out I either get ignored or talked down to... 😩

"Be essentially bedbound for a couple days" --> Yes, this is probably true... what I'm kinda imagining is that the initial effect is really really strong, with a paralyzing effect that actually leaves them unable to move much at all (depending on the power of the biting vampire). This effect could last anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours depending on the balance of power between the two vampires. And then once that part fades away, they'd get weak and feel really sick, almost like a really bad case of food poisoning. And this part could last from a few hours to a day or two (again, depending on the balance of power between the two vampires). So indeed if Genzou was bitten by a much stronger vampire, he'd first be unable to move (except maybe crawl a bit) for a few hours, and then after that, get feverishly sick for a few days.

"would they just like, be stuck prone somewhere?!" --> YEAH I GUESS SO LMAO. I guess the initial paralyzing part would be more like a matter of a few hours, and they might at least be able to pull themselves/crawl a little bit if they're in a really horrible place, but they'd pretty much be completely vulnerable during this period. LOL THAT'S A GOOD QUESTION. I guess they cannot... because only very specific things can actually kill them. However, they'd become incredibly weak and it would be very painful. I think if it went for on for too long they might go into a frenzy and be unable to control themselves/start hunting everything in sight in order to get food and blood??? I still need to fully think through this...

Ahhhh I'm glad you like everything though!! I'm having a lot of fun playing with all the lore and coming up with my own stuff too. I think it's really neat to have all of this already present lore but to be able to "remix" it as you please for your own worlds and stories.
