PERIL PARTY TIME!!
Incredibly random FYI, but if anyone wants to get this running on Steam Deck (kind of an ideal console for it TBH), it does work but you have to do some workarounds:
- Download the zip using a browser in desktop mode, the itch.io app won't let you b/c it's technically windows
- Extract to wherever
- Add the game.exe file to Steam
- CRUCIAL: under properties -> compatibility, forced the use of proton 7. Proton 9 threw an error for me but proton 7 works.
And then it can launch and works great. I'll be back with an updated comment after exploring all that the game has to offer! Congrats on the huge update!
