At the bottom of the folder for the game there's a .exe file called RPG_RT which is how I play the game. Never tried easyRPG.
yeah, that gives me "RPG Maker 2003 RTP not found." (which is why i thought i needed to use EasyRPG to play it)
i've read online that you can add FullPackageFlag=1 to the end of the .ini file but then i get "Cannot open SystemC file."

i figured it out. you go to rpgmakerweb dot com slash run-time-package and download the 2003 one. it opens fine now. you probably already had it as a dev
