So I'm just now playing Episode 2, and I just have a little problem with it so far.

Back in Episode 1 where you get the choice to go and have sex with Roxy, choosing "no" has you leave the party with Mina instead and you have a heartfelt conversation with her and then a choice to kiss her or not. Everything there feels perfectly built up and reasonable within the context of the scene.

But in Episode 2, if you DID choose to go with Roxy in Episode 1 that whole sequence with Mina is kinda squeezed in before Mina's first scene and it feels... Kinda bad? Like it doesn't really feel like it fits there. It especially feels like it shouldn't lead INTO her H-Scene. But it does give you 2 new unique choices to make to try and "make up" for the points you missed out on in Episode 1 though which is greatly appreciated. But saying no to Roxy still feels like the right choice since it builds up Mina's character in a better way.

So I guess I just have to ask if I can eventually get those 2 points with Roxy back later (similarly to how you get the chance to get the two back for Mina), or is going to her apartment to have sex with her the ONLY way to get them?

There is one thing I have to say while I'm at it though. The writing here in Echoes, seems substantially better than in MoS (I should probably play your other games too at some point to get a proper point of reference but I have yet to get around to them, and MoS is the only one I've played so far.) MoS, feels more... rushed? Like it has more spelling and grammar mistakes and the story is good enough for a parody, but it isn't the best. But Echoes feels better overall, less spelling and grammar problems. And the story is original, and quite good so far too. Not to mention the characters are all well written so far with very distinct personalities, appearances, stories, and even hidden sides. The visuals in both games are really good though.

Once again, I don't have a proper point of reference so I'm not sure if this is an actual improvement in your overall skill and writing quality or it just turns out MoS is more of a "just for fun" sorta thing. While Echoes is "It's time for me to get serious again." Please don't take any offence by any of this btw. This is just me struggling to put things into words and writing down what comes into my mind first, it's intended to be criticism that's hopefully valid. Anyways, great job with Echoes so far, I've been loving it and am very interested to see where the story and characters take me.

Of course, you will eventually get points with Roxy somehow if you are on Mina’s path in Ep1. Roxy sex scene in Ep1 is more of a special reward for ppl who play for fap. It doesn’t have much influence on the story.

For the writing, I’ve a friend to help me with the script of Echoes while MoS I’ve been doing it all alone. His English is much better than me. That’s what makes both games different.

That's good to know I'll get the points at some point.

Also, that would explain it then. English IS a rough language to learn/deal with, especially if it's your second language. But for what it's worth your English is also pretty good compared to some others I've seen and the grammar/spelling problems are few in number. They also don't hurt the experience too much either.

I messed with a console command and get both scenes at the end of episode 1. I went with Roxy then use command to jump to take Mina home from the club, and I get all available points in episode 1. Will that lead to an error later?

That shouldn’t be a problem. At least for now, but in the future, I’m not sure.

Thanks. I really like the conversation with Mina in ep 1 but maybe I am a little perfectionist so seeing the blank in gallery just annoyed me for some reason. The scene with Roxy is not as emotional as Mina’s conversation but I still want to have it in gallery.😆

Currently, Roxy is probably my least favorite love interest characters in this AVN since everything seems rushed to her writing. The scene with her just came out of nowhere and there is no emotional connection to her character. I understand the nature of AVN and I’ve seen a lot of fast development of relationships in these games. But there is a difference between fast and rush. Consider the quality of the rest of the writing, Roxy seems like she solely exists for a quick scene like the dev said.
Her character is also not as good nor as interesting as other love interest. Despite the fact that most of them haven’t had any arc yet. Roxy hates fakeness, seek something real and honest, yet her lifestyle choices feel like it would lead directly to what she hates. She probably had countless one night stands enough to know that it wouldn’t giving her what she truly wants (the writing makes it clear that she truly knows what she wants and that is something truly ‘real’ and ‘lasting’ so she must know what she’s doing is not good for her goal), and yet she still participated in the acts anyway. It is like she is a drug addicted. All of her writings somehow make her less of a love interest and more of a casual fling that the MC shouldn’t be emotionally attached to. I know that her character has many layers but now she is simply a party girl that bored with her life and sleep around with countless men to feel any hint of emotional high.
I might like her character more in future episodes with more character development but currently, compared to other characters she is in last place.
