This game felt like a dissociative haze, which feels appropriate, considering the contents.

Honestly, some elements of what was depicted by Bonnie's experiences also made me think of DID alter switching, the way that the story would jump around and come back in moments of sexual experiences and/or trauma.

I feel like this is a story filled with hurt and trauma, something that feels like an attempt to process emotions (or is made to depict a character processing emotions) and the ending scene with the therapist judging the inclusion of a child in this, also feels reflective of the current discussions and opinions about such pieces of media. This is especially true considering the stuff that has been going on with itch and various platforms in general.

the bit with the therapist kinda felt like,, over the top and unrealistic just to make a point, but i have had friends who have experienced exactly that situation- cops called on them by a therapist for fully legal but icky porn they create...

thank you for playing, and for organizing the jam! it was a blast. trying not to plan in advance, but we've got ideas we're excited to explore for the ryona jam too, so if things come together, we'll see you there ^^

People really do be getting wacky with it, don't they?

Anyway, I'm glad that I was able to host, and that so many wonderful games were submitted to the jam. (Some planning for my jams is allowed in advance by the way. Just don't start writing or making assets for the game until the jam starts and you're fine)
