It’s a really interesting and beautiful game, the visuals caught my attention right away.
I first tried playing with the keyboard, but it definitely feels much better with a controller. The balance also surprised me. At first it seemed easy, then it quickly became genuinely challenging in a good way.
Nika Shuimo is such a charming character, and the sound design fits perfectly with the art style. Something about her even reminds me of Juniper Lee, which makes her feel instantly familiar and nostalgic.
One thing I got curious about: is the game-over screen always framed as a failure? Is there a good or neutral ending as well?
I wanted to share my score, but I honestly can’t remember my highest points right now. I only recall my best run lasting around 5 minutes. Maybe adding a screen with high scores or personal bests would be a nice feature.
Overall, great work. Really enjoyed it!!
