You intro characters and then immediately kill them off, the husband is completely unlikeable, the wife is insane, so there's no reason to want more story and nothing to grab onto
This is just straight up bad writing that doesn't grasp how horror works. You need people to follow, a reason to hope against the horror, and there's just nothing
