Game description
Within Rotation is a game of chance encounters. Strangers can touch us lightly, or move us in a more lasting way. With a large cast of characters, distinct in their personality archetypes, discover these unique conversations as Within Rotation shines a light on universals experienced in this life together: fate and friendship.
Theme interpretation
Waves plays out in two ways in Within Rotation. Characters randomly meet and greet one another, and character meet each other at different waves in their life - with different life stages, career choices, and personal concerns.
Players also can play this game in waves - this game involves doing a specific and repeatable ritual to turn and reveal the two gumballs/characters that will start their conversation. This flow makes up the bulk of Within Rotation, and encourages players to appreciate the effort in randomly drawing from the cast of characters.
