I just played the game for a while and did the first prestige.
I very much get the frustration of tetradigm and honestly do not feel like I want to continue after prestiging.
Maybe your math says its fine, it does not "feel" fine to me at least.

Have you upgraided the permanent upgrade boost?
It should give bunch of damage even if you didn't farm anything on your first prestige
Yes, I have upgraded everything I found
Prestige surge is very powerful at the beginning. Also making sure to get decent items with prestiges and awakening them if possible helps a lot.
