An idea I was curious about:

Would it be possible to "temporarily remove" the nsfw content?  Allowing you to get the base game onto Steam, and hopefully get it to more people.  Then allow people to download a "mod", "patch", or "dlc" type of thing to reenable it.  Or have a code system (that could be used for other things like cheat codes) that when the code is entered allows access to the nsfw options? Like require 18+ for people to buy it still, but then have a link on the game's menu that takes people to a mod/patch to reenable it.

I had seen a few games that did this, so I was wondering if there was a way to go that path?

If it isn't that simple, what was the specific reason steam denied it?  And is it something we can just have removed (and depending on why it was, reenable them with a code input)?
