It's a 1 time purchase, to download future updates just go to the top right, click your name and you should see an option that says "my library" that's where you can download them from. hopefully this game doesn't get taken down due to the new censorship thing.

I mean there are save files for the characters but blender doesn't have a way to read them directly, you'd need some type of converter to change them from their current file type .dat into a .fbx file. and even then you'd need to get the textures/materials and other information too.

I realize the first question sounds a little confusing, simply I meant will we be able to have an option to get the towns people like sophia (don't remember all their names) to follow us to the islands as followers and help us carry stuff/interact or trade with. perhaps it could also give more use to collecting so much coins to buy their services.

Honestly enjoying the game and looking forward to the next update, I know it takes time and like with art "patience is key" however I do have a few questions.

1. Will there be any plans to have a follower npc that could allow you to carry more stuff and be interacted with/ help interact with other npc's? (like Sophia or even that rare one that's the first one you meet in the game, I forgot her name) 
2. Will there be expansions to the town like more people to fill the empty houses? 
3. more a long term idea but it'd be cool if at the very end you are transported back to where you're supposably from, once you unlock gate level 20 (or whatever the highest level will be) but with a portal that'll take you to the town, so it can keep it's playability.

Finally a style of game I've been looking for. Are there any plans to add quests like finding specific loot for the other characters? or a crafting system for weapons an stuff? 

If not it's still a good game I've been looking for an adventure style game like this. And I'm happy to have found this.
