It is happening for me too. Nix goes into the room and just as you're able to click stuff to inspect the room, the game stops responding

Does this happen immediately after Nix leaves, or does Nix leave and then you tap the screen? Does the game crash?
Sorry for the late reply. nix leaves, and after all the inner dialogue is finished it crashes whether you tap the screen or not.
Could you please tell us the exact phone model and Android ver you’re using?
I am using a Samsung AO5S. It says the Android version is 15.
