Just finished the Volume 2 and all I can say is fan-freaking-tastic job! The writing, animation, and direction are all beautiful. I felt the characters are portrayed so well and so much depth was covered in the volume. You all have truly out done yourselves and should be proud.
Some things I would like to note is that I really appreciate how you have characterized Caelan. In your rendition he is a very likable character with realistic reactions to situations. You have him show a deep level of compassion, but also with strength to stand up for himself in ways that fit his character.
Like I said before your efforts have made a beautiful build worth the wait, but something I'll note is maybe less production value in animation would be something to consider. The motion of backgrounds is nice but sometimes a little too much like the swaying in the butcher shop. This is a small nitpick but I just know how much effort it takes to create these additions for a small pay off since a pretty background may not need motion. (The little sprite animations of characters though has so much charm and i love it)
Once again, congratulations on your volume 2 release and I look forward to the next build!

And thank xou for the compliment on the tweaks I made to Caelan’s character 🙂 I wanted to remain as true to the original as possible while still playing into his more empathetic/submissive side, same way I made Vul a little more grumpy 😋 it all helps to play into the goal of the story
