Hello first off I like the idea of this game and want to play it and think you want to improve judging from your response to BugZi1123.

To be clear I did not get past the level with the fast coming logs and the vine over the spikes and don't like hard games at all. So if you want to make a hard game or want help with the later parts I might not be as much help.

So to begin there are two main problems that I noticed when in air the character can't move specifically if you jump straight up you can't move left or right and you also can't change direction in midair which is usually a part of platforming games I believe.

Which when combined with the slow feeling character makes the games timing much harder as you expect more movement then you get.

I love the idea for this game and hope you continue working on it and hope that what I'm about to say doesn't pressure you.

I plan on give a 5 star rating and follow because I believe you can make an awesome game the art and story is interesting but in my personal opinion at least the mechanics aren't there.

To be fair I definitely could make it farther as it is now but am somewhat busy and am hoping you make the game slightly easier before I try playing it in full.

I hope you keep working on the game and have a good time doing it as well.

I appreciate the thoughtful feedback. I'm showing my age here but the reason the jump is like that is because the entire segment is based on Pitfall. A lot of old games had static style jumps like that like Castlevania, Prince of Persia, etc. But I can consider either changing the jump or keeping the jump, but making the overall segment easier. My games are usually kind of difficult, which annoys a lot of people or they think the game is bugged because they can't beat it.

I think hard games can definitely be fun but just usually not for me.

I think it would be very cool if you made the game slightly easier but after checking out some of your other games I can see that is kinda just your style, in the end I just wanted to make the comment because even if you wanted to change the game the other comments weren't really giving any helpful or actionable feedback.
