Really interesting base for level design, I saw you were using ProBuilder in Unity thats a very cool tool to map out designs, the couple of assets also looked not too bad :=)

I would recommend maybe to cut down the level design to purposeful areas. When we think of a real ship we also have different areas with their purpose - Kitchen; Engine Room; Navigation Room - this translates also into games always find a small reason why you put stuff here.
Maybe then you could have elaborated on the dialogue system a bit.
I am not sure but the captain was talking about doing some maintenace on the ship right?
Anyway cool entry and I think you can post jam still get something interesting going here.

Thanks for the reply ! We were pressed for time and the game is really unfinished ^^"
This is the first time I've used Unity (and proBuilder) for level design, I originally come from Unreal Engine.

The dialogue system was implemented at the very end, my team members didn't have much free time to work on the jam , so we did what we could. :)
In fact, the captain is mainly there to bring the game to an end. The "maintenance" he's talking about is more to signify that the game isn't finished x)
I take note of the feedback, thank you again for paying attention to our almost-game ! :D
