This could definitely use some more checkpoints, the area after "good luck" is taking a very long time. Dashing sideways after falling is really precise. Maybe a lower terminal velocity would help, or just making it a more lenient gap. Locking dashes to 45 degree angles could also help?

Thanks a lot for the feedback! I was aiming for a Celeste-like feel while still keeping the game unique, so I didn’t want to lock the dash to 8 directions. But your points about the checkpoint placement, the precision of the sideways dash, and maybe tweaking the fall speed are super helpful—I’ll look into improving those!
