I'm struggling to find the link to the model. Also, I don't think it should be impossible to add it to the game, depending on what actions/animations you want, it's possible to bake the animations shots as a bunch of sprites. I don't work with RPG maker, but it should work. That said, it probably would clash with the rest of the game's visual style.
Thank you for checking out the newest posts! Indeed it is possible to make it happen, I once also had an entire gameplay video of roughly half an hour showcasing combat and exploring a wider open map. However, it was not ‚enough‘ for me and also not very good to work with once I compared it with my previous work which only depended on 2D sprites. In the end, it was not worth it for me, especially since every model and the sets of animations were too costly for me.
Makes sense, it's a big commitment to go for 3d like that. I'm assuming you're referring to the "even better version of the game" mentioned on your scribble hub? The Youtube link under that post isn't working anymore. If that's the case, what are you currently working on, if not that?
Also, are you planning on a steam release at any point? It's pretty clear to me that this is a massive passion project of yours, no Steam release feels like, idk, missed out potential in a way. Was it a financial decision for you, or just haven't had the time/desire to do it?
I was thinking of publishing it on Steam, and I was also working on a next installment of the game (Test Play). However, the reason why I am currently not active is simply because I am studying abroad right now, and any ressources I have or had, I am spending it on this endeavor instead. Once I settled on doing that, I dropped the Steam idea and put the other project on hold, I sadly donˋt have the time to continue like before.
However, my original goal with this game was to make my story visible and alive, and I still achieved that. That is already enough for me
