Thank you for your comment! I do plan to return to this, hopefully next year! I've learned a lot more about D&D and TTRPGs since writing this, but the mechanics and aspects of said games are mainly for flavor and won't get in the way of the overall story.
As for the ending, you've pretty much hit the nail on the head! Like my username, I enjoy writing fantasy stories along those lines, but as to where the quartet ended up is something that will be elaborated on in the next update. Thanks for reading!
