The use of electric guitar grounding the emotion and using the orchestra to elevate the mood and propel the energy is a creative move. The pads drifting between chords have a distinct space-like quality which fits really well with the theme image. The frequencies of these chords and the electric guitar seem to collide with each other and I wonder if maybe carving out space for the lead electric guitar in the center of the soundfield might help the track feel balanced without sacrificing any of the sounds you use. I really appreciate your use of grand pauses to utilize lack-of-sound as a potent instrument to convey moments that are just as poignant in this emotional track as the other instruments.
