somethng seems to be wrong with it then, since im not getting any tf points from carrots or perfumes or the like.

What makes you think that?

Maybe should have specified. You only get points if you take them. Just seeing them and not taking them does not give any points.

it feels like the points for using the tf items is bugged or something and its only counting the traps

I can't find any issues unfortunately. But Ican take a look at your savefile if you like and check for bugs?

Unfrotunately it is hard for me to give better advice without taking a look at your savefile to check.

This would be one site where you could upload your savefile if you wnat me to check for potential bugs. Your savefile can be found in the games folder www/save.

I'd like to second this. After completing 3 whole runs where I picked up every tf item, stepped on every magic circle, and took every cursed object offered, I only have about 19-21 TF mastery points for each of the starting species. Not to mention the dozens of runs where I failed before completing it.

It feels near impossible to level these masteries, and very unclear on how you are supposed to advance them.

That certainly does not sound right, thanks for the report.

I will take another look at it and see if I can find what causes this!

One further investigation I did find one wierd bug.

TF Items spots and TF Traps seem to give none tf mastery under certain conditions. That could explain a lower tf gain than intended.

I will fix that and update the script for mastery gain in the coming patch. Thanks a lot for pointing that out^^
