Nameless Creation: This is a very upbeat song and I hear the elements you included representing nature - upward motion representing growth, bouncy ostinatos that seem to represent a vivacious energy, and acoustic wooden percussion giving a sense of natural instrumentation. I really love the sudden key change at 2:16 that injects a brand new burst of energy into the track, making it feel even more alive.
Collapse: I feel quite relaxed listening to this track during the first half. I like the inclusion of the film noir distant smoky trumpet solo sound as the main melody, which adds a layer of curiosity to the relaxed undertone. The subtle 3 over 2 polyrhythm is a nice touch to keep the beginning of the track interesting. The hot synths that come in around 1:20 worked well to pull me from a sense of safety. I like the slow return to the piano motif at the very end.
Desolation: I really enjoy story arcs like this where the main conflict is player vs. nature because it allows for so much complexity and plenty of room for emotional exploration. This track does a very nice job exploring danger, uncertainty, and guilt. I appreciate the downward arpeggios which contrast the upward motion in the first track - this seems to represent death and decay.
Restoration of the Nameless Creation: I love the breakaway of the beat at ~0:36 bringing back the more optimistic sound. This is pretty creative to treat this final piece as a medley of the soundtrack. Nicely done!
Overall I felt transported through a full story in this OST which is not always easy to do in only 4 tracks. I appreciate your exploration with themes outside of generic “space” and I think the final result is one you should be very proud of! Great work and thank you for sharing!
