I really love the rhythmic elements in the ambience at the beginning. Calm, floating, and lost in space all come to mind while listening to this track. I think the loud low melody in the middle section seems to take the attention away from the weightless vibe and adds a bouncy sense of gravity. I wonder if turning that particular instrument down in the mix would help smooth out the transition into and out of that middle section and keep the space vastness vibe consistent throughout.
