First of all, welcome back! It probably took a lot of courage to write this post, so I just want to say that I don't think anyone has a right to be mad at you. You provided a free game that you made for fun and when the process was getting too straining, you took a break for your own mental health. That was the correct decision and you should not feel guilty over it.

As for what I'd like too see, I'm somewhat split between options 1 and 2, while 3 also seems appealing in its own right. At the end of the day, I'm a firm believer in the idea that the creator's joy and enthusiasm are the most important ingredients for good entertainment, so I'd just say that you should do whatever option seems the most fun for you. Your own fulfillment as a creative should be the priority, I'm just happy to look at whatever you come up with!
