Hello, we've finally managed to play the game (we're a remote-only group from all over Italy) and we had a lot of fun!
In own version of Revolution Records, the boss (Rachel Benson) was a former Hippy from the '70s and still going Love, Peace and Good vibes even in the late nineties. The shop is struggling, but she's fighing the good fight, with the help of:
Jane, a post-punk-lovin' Overachiever saddled with a debt;
Jinx, a techno-industrial black punk Wizard whose dream is mixing in the big studios and meanwhile takes care of shop's hi-fi gear and keeps updated RR's brand new website;
Dharmendra, a brit-pop-lovin' half-Brit-half-Indian kid who's fascinated by the indie side of the music biz and wants to be a part of RR;
and Saorise (SR), a young italo-irish skater punk Flirt who wants to be like the "cool folks".
Our Bigshot was a Grace Slick-like Californian beauty (Spark Silverberg) who is friends with RR's boss, lost confidence of fans in the eighties (think Starship's "We Built This City") and is trying a back-to-the-roots comeback (think Kendra Smith's "Bold Marauder").
We managed to save Revolution Records despite the print shop not printing enough flyers for the Big Event, catering failing to show up and local Moral Majority trying to stop the show (but hey, local TVs talked about RR a lot!), and most of the characters reached their goal.
We also created some nifty playlists, striving for chronological accuracy.
I hope you like them since, in our view, it is a testament of the fun we had playing the game :-)
