1 update all year is ridiculous. I don't want to hear the typical "it's hard and takes time to make", when you have HAND DRAWN AVNS (Superhuman) coming out at a faster rate than this. This is laziness and needs to be called out. This dude pulls in hundreds if not thousands of dollars a month on his Patreon, so he doesn't care how fast he goes, because if they're going to keep paying, might as well milk it out for as long as possible, right? To all the people who continue to subscribe to the Patreon month after month, what are you gaining? The ability to play a few days/weeks earlier when he FINALLY decides to finish an update? I sincerely advise all of you who are contributing to reevaluate the money you're putting into this creator's hands. I will be the first to say, this game definitely deserves the love and contributions, but if the creator is not going to take it seriously, why should you? Hopefully, if his Patreon earnings take a dip, he'll understand people are not okay with being shit on, but who knows.

Don't know your programming experience, but surely version 9 is likely 9! (factorial i.e. 9x8x7x6x5x4x3x2) as complicated as version 1. If it's not, illustrate how.

Absolute dog shit timeline, especially since(I am only quoting rumors here, based on what I have seen) he is using AI renders now. That cuts like 95 percent of the rendering process down, so there's REALLY no excuse for taking a year or more between updates(if there's a legitimate reason, i'd be understanding, IRL comes first, but nothing of the sort has been stated so we're just kinda left hanging.)
I barely even remember the story anymore. And having to restart every update is anoying af.
