Insanely Good Demo!

Some might look at this and think - typical motel horror, but let me tell you the truth - ITS NOT! The game has insane sequences, especially in the end. The conversations between characters feel fresh, unique, immersive. The atmosphere and the visuals are spot on, as well as the retro feels that the game is going for. I felt really bad for Harold, but, you know the old saying - Happy Wife, Happy Life (NOT).

Although, I did had some issues with this. Mainly, the music feels a bit overused and I wasn't sure if it was copyrighted, the reason why I muted those sections, again just a personal experience with games like this, which I did mention in the review. Optimization can be better and some of the collisions felt a bit off, I got stuck during the apartment sequence and while looking for the trash bin. Otherwise, as a demo, this was solid.

Best of luck with the full release! I am really excited for this and even followed your profile. Cheers!

Hey Niven, first of all thank you so so much for writing a detailed review and giving feedbacks! I will work on all of those issues you stated and try my best to optimize the game more. As for sound track, from my knowledge none of them have copyright, and some of the music I made it myself. The TV Film and also the jazz music at the beginning are in public domain so everyone can use it.

Thanks for the nice comment. Yes, I did realize it was public domain, but I had some bad experiences before with games like this, so I hope you understand that. Can't wait for the full version, recommend to all my friends 😉. Cheers!
