If you send the save file in question to didgamesproductions@gmail.com we can try to fix the save, and also find out how it happened, so it doesn't happen again

After looking into it further, it may have happened because you used a save file from the previous demo (Demo 2 or Demo 2.1). If so, then starting a new game instead should solve the issue for you.

If you really don't want to start a new game however, you can try downloading the game again and load the save file in it, then immediately save. That should also fix the crash, although I can't guarantee there won't be other issues with the save file.
