I'm so glad you enjoyed it and thank you for the kind words! Yeah, I problem I was never able to fix is that, somtimes, detaching form a ceiling will just launch you down. I think it has something to do with the way that I did the cuustom surface detecting using raycasts.  I have a function that handles vertical movement that fires when on a wall or ceiling which allows you to detach. But somewhere in there it gets a little wonky. Still very new to coding and godot so this is something I wanted to figure out.
