This was so sad! The ending made me tear up. I wish there was a way to get a good ending!
The little candle minigame was fun, too. Nice to have some more engagement than just dialogue! And the setting is such that lighting the candles made me feel even more despair about being forced to take part in the ritual.
In browser play, there seem to be some bugs with how the text displays. It seems like the last letter of a word sometimes gets cut off, or sometimes even a whole word. I don't know if this would be the same if I downloaded the game as well.
