This was a very enjoyable experience to play! I think the music, SFX, and graphics work well together. The art style is really cool and loved the feel. Given how much work it took, take this next comment with a grain of salt, but my one suggestion might be to have the music looping in the case of longer battles as I encountered a couple battles where it ended mid-battle. As someone who struggles with getting music to loop correctly, I know it's a tall ask! But I really LOVED the music, it would be something I would enjoy listening to on loop.

Thank you, I appreciate the kind words! The music looping is great feedback - I was actually on the fence about it! I decided not to loop it because I was worried it'd be repetitive and annoying, but reading your comment makes me think I should have just gone for it.
I tried really hard to pick music and sound effect that wouldn't be too grating to have to hear over and over, so hearing that they work well together is a delight!
