I enjoyed this even though horror games tend to freak me out! The art style is great. It reminds me of classic Runescape but elevated. The atmosphere is genuinely creepy and I was immediately spooked. I even paused the game a few times because I was feeling a bit panicky as monsters started to approach.

The sound design especially stood out - the chanting during spells really sold the whole paladin / holy cleric / priest trying to exorcise demons and added a lot to the tension.

The exorcism mechanic took me a few tries to figure out (I died quite a few times). Once it clicked it was all good though. Maybe showing the 'WASD' keys instead of arrows would have made it a bit more intuitive? Another nitpicky thing: I would have loved to have been able to play this in fullscreen.

Also, I'm really curious about the story and what's going on. Who is this guy? Why are there monsters? I think some environmental storytelling or subtle lore hints could have taken this to the next level, because what you have created feels so interesting and mysterious.

We did think about twin stick system but in the end didnt manage to find the time to implement it and stood with the first iteration. Spot on with the WSAD i haven't thought of it, probably because of playing to much helldivers xd. As for the enviroment storytelling we also didn't manage to find the time and we were already cuting like half of the ideas we had '^.^ but hopefully we will be more prepared on next GWJ : )
