The contest is based on the honor system, so it’s how you feel like it should be counted. Personally I’d lump that into compiling your game, as I know at least in Godot, it’s just a quick setting change to update the resolution. If you did more than just adjust the resolution, then I’d say you went over. But again it’s self reporting and the ONLY thing that 3+ hours removes for you is the lack of the official win possibility. You can still rank first if you go over, just don’t get the title.
