Im curious,does the nickelplate Berkshire have authentic steam sounds? In fs25 giants added a steam locomotive in the Highlands fishing DLC but apparently sound wise it's still a diesel which is rather annoying. Im hoping your steam engine isn't the same

No way?? haha thats cool that they added a steam locomotive! how does it compare? I completely rebuilt my FEF-3 so I hope you guys enjoy the new update when it comes out! dissapointing that it uses diesel sounds tho.. that probably really takes away from the immersion?
rest assured tho! my Berkshire does use actual sounds from the 765 berkshire in particular. I found a YT video of NKP 765 taking off and then chugging down the track and cut it up for the different speeds in game. Its not perfect, but I think it turned out well? the FEF-3 uses the same steam noises as far as the chugging and stuff, but I have an authentic whistle from UP 844 for it too!
