Thank you so much for the complements I really appreciate it.

As for my custom animation engine, yeah it's just a simple script that let's me move characters with my mouse and then record and play back their positions.

In fact I never removed the devtools from the game I just made them invisible you'll find that if you hit R on the keyboard and then move your mouse around and hit R again you sould maybe see a new file appear.

Art is not my strong suit look at all my other games to know that much, so I developed my own "style" over time. I use Godot's built in polygon2D node to create shapes manually, then I apply color to them and that's usually where I call it a day, but this time I went above and beyond. I decides to use shaders. This was my first time using shaders so I just copy and pasted them all from godotshaders.com But they really work well! Shoutout to blur shader that I used way to extensively.

I'm also used to spamming particles until my game looks good.

Did you enjoy the mini narratives I eanted each character to have lore in the interactions and since the lore isn't said too well in game I just have to say it here.

The Fox gets chased by the wolf because he stole some of the Wolf's money, after that the fox xan come and buy a bunch of hot coco loco do a couple spins and buy one more. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.

The wolf falls in a pond once and later always jumps over it.

The snail by the way is the only one that has a name. I named him after what my brother called him in slug form: Scooter. So Scooter buy loco but then it gets stolen by the fox. The fox uses it as a hat and flexes on you for not having a hat. The big yellow dog comes chases the fox and gets Scooters shell back. They are now BFFs.

I dont have lore for the birds/frogs

Sorry for my excessively long reply, I'm glad you enjoyed the game and thank you for making my day by doing so.
