Edit: Actual release dates are good to get hyped and have a plan. Nobody is mad or disappointed, that you didnt get it until that date! Just calm down and take your time, better a good release than buggy! Also focus on yourself, stay healthy and dont get burned out!
i have to provide release dates at some point. These days i'm trying not to guess and be more professional with my work structure so i can be certain about when i can comfortably release an update. It's just situations like this are hard to predict. In the future, i'll set my own deadline for a week before the actual deadline so i have some wiggle room if i have to fix potential fuckups like this. Sorry for letting you down, it's coming within 48 hours.
