Thank you for the reply,

I understand that you are trying to keep it vanilla now, and I can agree that since you are not into a lot of things you shouldnt be forced into it. After all, consent is not just part of the game but also reality.

It was just a possibility after all, since the game leans towards it.

If you dont want it or feel like you couldnt do it, then dont. It is your game, it is your choice, and no one can and never should be able to force you. However I do think that adding them talking about kinky stuff may add to the narrative. Something like "oh and I looked up that, thought I like it." and then it goes a bit back and forth hesitantly, before throwing the idea out alltogether because of the cat and mouse play you present.

Lastly, I do want to ask if this is the only game or narrative we can see Zack and Braden in. Meaning, will there be a second game where the hot stuff happens like your friends at Apollo Studios have done with New Hope, where there is this paid christmas special where the MCs get into things. Even if just vanilla. And since it is non-canon from what I understand it doesnt interfere with the narrative itself.

Also, if you feel like you want to please kink audiences but dont want to get into it yourself because, for instance, you are afraid of it, maybe you could get someone else to write the story or make the scene? I dont know how viable this is for you, but its an option if you, lets say, "want to explore other horizons" with scenes.

But all in all, I once again thank you for this amazing gem of a game. It will forever have a special place in my heart, with or without roped up Zack (imagine laughing emoji)

And with that, let yourself never be pulled in by what people want and stay true to what you do, like you have done so far!

so i'm fine writing follow-up stories in the universe but I need to finish the revamp first and there needs to be  a clear narrative purpose for them. The following is my own personal opinion and in no way affects how i feel about the work of others-- particularly Apollo Studios because I love Blayke to death. i personally think that non-canon stuff can be fun to read or experience, it's just not for me as a creator.

My opinion:  I'm personally against writing non-canon stories. i think they're fun to debate and sometimes I'll drop a pic set on the Patreon page every now and then but that's very rare. It's mostly because I think it gets confusing. you'd have to really follow the project and pay attention to the socials to follow what's canon and what's not and I think that's asking a lot of a reader. the consequence of that, as the creator, is then i get bombed with questions to clarify story elements and I end up having to explain what's canon and what isn't and it can easily just turn into a distracting mess for me. In my early creating days, I considered doing a lot more non-canon stuff but as time has gone on, i realized those intentions were guided more by me just trying to drum up interest in the characters or get traffic-- and as a creator, that was the wrong position for me to take. my stance now is that I want to be true to my characters and prove to the audience that i'm careful with them and the story even if that means less traffic, views, financial gain, etc. that being said, i'm human and sometimes I'll just get some desire to do something off the rails for fun and I may share that but I can't see me ever doing a mini-side project of something non-canon because I would literally get blown up with messages from people asking how it fits into the story even if i clarified in the project that it was non-canon.

Thank you once more for the response.

Of course the remake has the first priority, that is no doubt. I do hope that you may find another story with Zack and Braden in the future, because I really enjoy the one we have already. But like you said, a new story needs purpose. I myself am a worldbuilder and dislike leaving things aside, though I am uncertain on how to handle non-canonity at this time.

I wish you best of luck on your journey, and await the next public update of Straight when time comes.
